Practice Spotting

What is Practice Spotting ?

Practice Spotting uses stories and lenses in the MMW Guided Practice Journal to help make sense of it.

We then record  the explicit practices on Practice Cards to help write exercises to insert meaning into our work to encourage the positive behaviours we wish to see in the culture.

Benefits of Practice Spotting

Being aware of self and others behaviours helps you to be reflective and learn from other people.

The benefits are to :

  • Unlock implicit or unseen behaviours and make these explicit
  • Help be aware and learn from others positive implicit practices
  • Observe, make sense, reflect and break down behavioural patterns
  • Gain multiple perspectives
  • Help us understand the grand narratives and patterns
